Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.
Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become
Everything else is secondary.

Random Thoughts

I made a goal to try and update this once a week, and already I've fallen behind. The truth is that nothing significant happened this past week! The twins and I are getting back into a stable routine, which means ABCs, 123s, and enjoying the warm weather while it lasts!
Speaking of warm weather, how does it go from being 50 degrees on a Sunday, when I can walk to 7-Eleven and get a slurpee without freezing my fingers off, to snowing about an inch the following day?! I love the weather in the same way that I hate it!
Writing - started a small encouragement group with a couple of close, trusted friends and I'm getting some ideas on my next move with my novel. It's coming along, and I'm giving myself until the end of this month to finish up with this draft. I need a do a bit more research, a little more character development, and add two chapters in the middle that will hopefully make it flow just a little bit better. I'm probably overdoing it, but oh, well. It's my story, and I'll edit it if I like!
Last thought of the evening, I'm pushing along with my healthy eating, healthy living plan for 2012. I've made sure to stock up on good, whole foods (yogurt, granola, cheese, fruits and veggies, soups, and lo-fat snacks) and escape to the basement most evenings to workout on the Wii - which is fun! I'm keeping track of my activities on a calendar so I can look back and see just how active I've been throughout the month. It helps to have that visual!
Coming this weekend: A look at a week with me and the girls. Links to fun activities we do, places we go, and how I'm working on potty training them!
